| How It Works
1. INITIAL FULL BACKUP OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The first step is to fully backup all your important information currently stored on your computer[s]. The Off Site Backup Software compresses your selected files and encrypts them to Banking Standards (so don't forget your password!) before transmitting them via your Internet connection to our mirrored, secure, disk server farms.
2. INCREMENTAL BACKUP
After the initial full backup the software regularly scans the designated directories for new and changed files. These, it compresses for efficiency and encrypts using 256-bit financial grade encryption for security. The information is then transmitted to our mirrored disk servers located in a secure, fireproof facility
3. RESTORATION OF DATA
Should you ever need a single file or a complete system restoration, you view the archive directory, select the files needed for download and restore them to any computer supplied with your encryption key.
Charges
Per Server Monthly Licence £ 6.95 + vat + £ 2.50 + vat per Gigabyte of Data
Per Desktop Monthly Licence £ 3.95 + vat and £ 2.50 per Gigabyte of Data
What to Do to get our service
- Call us on 0870 345 0201 ext 202 and speak to Mr Marshall who will setup your account.
- Payment is by recurring monthly or quarterly subscription
- We then remotely install the software on your server (or we can make a site visit to do this)
- The backup starts as a service and will run automatically and you never need worry again about your data.
